Wheel 101 class

This class is 1 hour long, learn the basics of setting up a pottery wheel to throw, the proper tools needed, how to prepare the clay through a process called "wedging," centering, throwing on the wheel and how to clean up.

Pieces created are finished at our studio and picked up at a later date.

This class qualifies a person to attend open studios and work independently.

Cost is $25/individual.

Materials and firing is covered in this cost for one piece (approximate maximum size-up to 8" tall x 8" width x 8" length.

Additional pieces are $5 (covers material and firing costs).

Specialty Items are also available for additional cost. These require additional time, and material.

Dinner plates (12" diameter): $30

Serving Bowls (12" diameter): $35

Serving Platters (15" diameter): $50

Pitchers (12" tall): $45
